Missing
Items
- We
would like to hear from any collector who has genuine covers of the
1867 & 1874 issues, in order to include them in the cover census
we are doing for these issues.
- Regarding
the 1879 issue chapter, we would appreciate if any collector could
provide us with photographs or scans of the following items (either
mint or used): 1c. First printing : Types 2, 3, 4, &
5; 5 c. Third printing : Types 2, 3, 6, & 8 (These have no
veins in the leaves, have opened up background, and are in
ultramarine blue).
- Any
information about 1887-88 private stationery not included in H&G
or Ascher is very important for the variety listing in Chapter 5.
- We
gladly welcome any varieties, proofs, specimens, forgeries, etc.
that you feel could be useful to report for addition to the
Handbook!
